Movies, Trips, Nervousness, and Babies

Hi, guys and gals!  This is my second post and I am loving this blog so far!  Have any of you watched "How to train your Dragon"?  Today we got the movie!  We are going to watch it tonight, after the little girls go to bed.  It is an awesome movie (we already got to see it on vacation)! It is  "Spectacular!  A must see!"  I can hardly wait for number two to come out.  It will, trust me.  We have seen some previews of the second one and it is awesome!!
A week from Saturday, I will be going to Chicago with a cousin.  Why you ask?  Well, my mom's parents are taking each of their grandchildren, at the age of twelve, on a birthday trip.  "Wait, aren't you thirteen?" you say.  Yes, I am.  Last year we were planning on going to Denver, Colorado.  But we (my family) got sick, so we weren't able to go.  So we are going this year.  We are going to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  I can't wait!  This is the first trip I'm going to take with no one in my immediate family (dad, mom, my three sisters, and my two brothers).  Unfortunately, I will be gone on Wil's birthday!  I have to confess that I'm nervous about going on this trip.  I'm the type of person that worries about trips, all the time!  I mean, no matter how hard I try, I can not stop being nervous.  And most of the time, when I'm nervous about forgetting to bring something, I DO forget something!  So if anyone has any ideas about controlling nervousness, PLEASE tell me.
Last night we went to our church's Care Group.  Anyway, please pray for a mom in our Care Group who is due with a baby TOMORROW!!  Pray that all will go well.  Another mom in our Care Group (there are several families in our Care Group) had a baby three weeks ago. It's a girl and she is the cutest little thing!  I would love to take her home!  Sometimes I'll tell myself, "I can't wait until I have a child of my own!", and other times I'm telling myself, "Well...I would like for a child of my own, I just don't like going through the process.".
I love posting to you guys and gals and I can't wait until I can post again!

Welcome to my blog:)

Hi, my fans! Oh, wait. I don't have any fans. Oh shoot! Well, I haven't introduced myself properly (unless you have already read my profile!). My name is Sammy and I am 13 and am going into 8th grade. I like......well, you can read about my likes in my profile. I have a sister named Zoe, who has turned 11 on June 3rd. She is going into 6th grade and she is a audiobook maniac! She also likes soundtrack songs and crafts. She and I are alike in many ways (though she doesn't read books as much as I do!). I have two brothers named, Wil and Charlie. Wil is 9 (going on 10 on the 23rd of June) and likes science, star wars Legos, Chima Legos, Lego city Legos, playing outside, ninjas, movies, and playing on screens. He has broken both of his arms when he was younger (at different times though). He is also very strong (though he doesn't realize it) and he can run faster than me. Charlie is a cute little guy and a sweetie. He is 7. He LOVES Angry Birds! He loves any type of Lego, likes to help people (when he's in the mood), and mainly likes most of the stuff on Wil's list. And they both have a habit of making up words and silly stories. Are you getting tired of me? Well, I'm almost done with my siblings list, so don't worry. I have two more sisters, Lily and Poppy. Lily is 5 and Poppy is 3. They both love music, love playing with each other, wrecking puzzles (and not putting them together again), playing with Legos, coloring, and singing with songs. They were both adopted from China and have special needs. Lily is weak in her right side and we are exercising it to help it become strong. It is a slow process, but we are making progress. Poppy has EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa) which is a skin disease that makes her skin fragile and weak. It will stay with her for forever, but hopefully when she grows up she will become more careful and won't get as many boo-boos. Poppy is a little stinker and very cute!

Okay, I have finished my list of siblings, five to be exact. Now my parents, my dad for starters. At almost every single supper, there is a pleading to my dad for a story. In my opinion, my dad is the best storyteller in the whole world! He also works hard, makes us laugh (a lot!), is our principal (I forgot to mention that we are homeschooled), makes many voices and faces, is a Christian, helps me understand things that I don't understand, and is the best dad in the entire world. My mom and I have the best conversations that a teenager needs in this world. I know that that is a weird beginning for my mom, but I consider those conversations the best part about my mom. My mom is also a teacher, great at finding deals (though she says that her sister is better at finding better deals than her), a great cook, finds great movies (my family is a pack of movie lovers), works extremely hard (next to dad :)), and she is the best mom in the whole world. Whew! That's a load off my chest! I hope you like my first post!!
